1 packages martha white muffin mix (any flavor), 1 egg, 2/3 cup milk, 1 syrup, 1 optional fruit.

2 egg whites

¼ teaspoon salt

.688 cup packed brown sugar

1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract

1 cup pecan halves

Directions

Preheat oven to 250 degrees F (120 degrees C).

Beat egg whites and salt until foamy; gradually add brown sugar and vanilla.

Continue beating until stiff peaks are formed. Fold in pecan halves.

Drop by teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet. Bake for 1 hour.
