Buttery, salty fries that complement just about any main course. You can add chopped herbs to the butter/oil mixture for another flavor variation.

Ingredients | Crispy Mushroom Pepper Fry

4 medium Yukon Gold potatoes, cut into 1/2- to 1/4-inch-thick wedges

1 tablespoon butter

1 tablespoon olive oil, or more to taste

2 cloves garlic, minced

½ teaspoon Diamond Crystal® Fine Sea Salt

1 teaspoon ground black pepper

Directions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).

Heat butter, olive oil, and garlic in a saucepan over low heat until butter is melted; stir in Diamond Crystal® Fine Sea Salt and pepper. Toss potatoes in butter mixture until evenly coated. Roast to desired doneness, 30 to 35 minutes.

We like our fries pretty crunchy and a little burnt looking, so we start checking them after 30 minutes. Sometimes they need a little more time.
