Matcha Frappe
When she pulled it out, it still looked like liquid.
Recipe Summary Matcha Frappe
Delicious green tea powder blended into a creamy drink that's better than Starbucks Green Tea Frappuccino®. I use DoMatcha as it is the best quality around; it is expensive, however, and a little goes a long way.Ingredients | Mocha Frappuccino Starbucks Bottle1 cup milk1 teaspoon matcha green tea powder, or more to taste5 ice cubes, or as needed1 tablespoon vanilla-flavored syrup (such as ToraniĀ®)1 tablespoon whipped cream, or to tasteDirectionsCombine milk, matcha green tea powder, ice, and vanilla syrup, respectively in a blender; blend to desired consistency. Serve with whipped cream on top.Adjust the thickness of the frappe by increasing or decreasing the amount of ice according to your tastes. I like thick icy drinks. Please don't use contents of green tea tea bags, it's a whole different taste than matcha. You can substitute almond milk, rice milk, or soy milk for the milk. I notice almond milks leaves a distinct after taste. This recipe is versatile in its ingredient amounts, you can add more ice it you want it thicker, more matcha green tea powder if you want it thicker, or more vanilla syrup if its not sweet enough.Info | Mocha Frappuccino Starbucks Bottleprep: 5 mins total: 5 mins Servings: 1 Yield: 1 serving
